PG TRB Assistant 2017 Exam Pattern(Total 150 Marks)
- Your Main Subject - 110 Marks
- Educational Methodology - 30 Marks
- General Knowledge - 10 Marks

Selection Procedure of PG Assistants (TRB) and Physical Directors
There will be two successive stages in the PG TRB Exam selection process. Which are written examination and awarding of weightage marks during Certificate Verification.
(i) Mark for Employment Registration Seniority
(Period of wait)
Less than 1 year - 0
1 to 3 years - 1
3 to 5 years - 2
5 to 10 Years - 3
Above 10 Years - 4
(ii) Teaching Experience in Higher Secondary Classes in recognised Schools
1 to 2 years - 1
2 to 5 years - 2
Above 5 Years - 3

- After PG TRB Exam 2017 Results, the candidates will be called for certificate verification
- After Verification of Certificate, the total marks secured by each candidate will be calculated by adding weightage marks with the written examination marks.
- A PGTRB merit list will be prepared by the Teachers Recruitment Board, Tamilnadu.
- Selection will be done based on the merit list and merit-cum-communal rotation.

Educational Qualifications for PG TRB Exams
A Post Graduate Degree in the relevant subject with B.Ed Degree. The educational qualification should be 10 + 2 + 3 pattern (SSLC, Plus Two, Degree).
Important Notes regarding educational qualification:
(i) Candidates must have completed the same subject in Bachelor's Degree and Master’s Degree, both for academic subjects as well as Languages. (G.O.Ms.No.361 School Education Department dated 31.12.1999)
